Essence of Design

 

 

In the minor 'Essence of Design,' I embarked on a quest to discover what makes me a strong designer.

I've always been fascinated by materials and textures, exploring possibilities and pushing boundaries.

Here, I conducted numerous tests with materials, creating prints, manipulating both hard and soft textures optically.

The culmination of these experiments resulted in three concept styling posters.

Looking ahead, I plan to develop one of these concepts into a seating piece for my own interior.

The posters are styled with products from the minor's process. A fascination with working with foam led to models crafted from foam, each possessing a unique character.

The 'spaces' are adorned with material experiments, including items hardened with epoxy and foamy elements.

Experiments involve manipulating materials and textures, challenging expectations, and working with epoxy.
